FAQs

Do we need to pull permits for our project?

The need for permits depends on the scope of work. For example, replacing windows typically requires permits, whereas updating kitchen cabinets or countertops usually does not. However, if your project involves moving plumbing, adding electrical outlets or fixtures, or any structural changes—such as removing or adding load-bearing walls or beams—a permit is definitely required. We’ll guide you through the permit process to ensure compliance with local regulations.

How long will the project take?

Project timelines vary depending on the complexity and scope. For instance, a kitchen remodel may take 6–8 weeks, while a bathroom renovation could be completed in 3–4 weeks. After our initial consultation, we’ll provide you with a detailed timeline tailored to your specific project.

Can I live in my home during the project?

In most cases, yes. We take great care to ensure a clean, organized job site at the end of each day, prioritizing your comfort and safety. Our team works diligently to minimize disruptions, allowing you to remain in your home throughout the process.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes, all of our craftsmanship is backed by a warranty. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work, and we rarely receive warranty calls. Additionally, all materials we use come with manufacturer warranties for added peace of mind.

What is your payment schedule?

We require an initial deposit when the contract is signed, with the remaining payments divided into phases. Payments are due upon completion of each phase, and the final payment is not requested until you are completely satisfied and have signed off on the project.

What is your builder's fee?

We charge a flat builder’s fee, which is a percentage of the total project cost. This fee covers the management of all aspects of the project, from procurement to ensuring everything stays on budget and on schedule.
